Why it matters
The compute build is capital-constrained and power-constrained at the same time, and Brookfield is one of the few names that trades against both. It structures the financing that keeps a fab off a chipmaker's balance sheet, and through Brookfield Renewable and Westinghouse it owns hydro, wind, solar and the nuclear service franchise the same buildout is now bidding for.
